Hauling & delivery — Lago Vista / Austin Hill Country

Material in.
Junk out.

We run a 14 ft dump trailer out of Lago Vista. Material delivered to the job, old material hauled away, often on the same trip. If a tandem dump truck won't go down the driveway, that's usually where we come in.

What we move

Most jobs need something brought in and something taken out. We do both, and when the timing lines up, in one trip.

Delivered to you

  • Appliances, water heaters, HVAC units, vanities
  • Doors, cabinets, trim and finish material
  • Material runs from the big box store or a supplier straight to the job
  • Mulch, rock, gravel, sand, dirt and sod in small quantities
  • Lumber, fencing, pallets, feed
  • Golf carts, mowers, small equipment
  • Moving items between two properties

Hauled away

  • The old appliance, taken on the same trip as the new one
  • Jobsite debris — framing scrap, drywall, packaging, crating
  • Tear-out from remodels, cabinets, counters, flooring
  • Yard and storm debris, brush, fencing
  • Scrap metal and appliances routed to recycling
  • Site sweep after the crew pulls out
  • Property and unit cleanouts
Why people call us

The driveway problem

Most supply yards won't deliver to an uphill driveway or off-road.

That is standard policy for tandem dump trucks, and it is written into delivery terms across the industry. The trouble is that Lago Vista, Jonestown, Point Venture, Apache Shores and Volente are almost entirely steep, narrow, caliche-cut hillside lots. A truck that can't turn around or can't climb wet caliche is a truck that isn't coming.

A pickup and a 14 ft dump trailer fits where they don't. Smaller loads, more trips if that's what it takes, and material actually placed where you want it instead of dropped at the curb.

Longest material we can carry

Length matters more than weight, more often than people expect. Fourteen feet means no roof trusses, no 20 ft rebar, no 20 ft dimensional lumber. Ten foot bundles and accessories are no problem.

We will never quote you "a load" of anything without telling you the yardage. If you need ten yards of gravel, we are the wrong call and we will say so on the phone. If you need a yard and a half placed behind a gate on a hillside lot, we are probably the only call.

How we price it

01

Delivery runs

Pickup and delivery has a defined scope — we know the pickup point, the drop point and the material. Those we can price on the phone. Call with the details and you get a number without waiting on a site visit.

02

Haul-off and cleanouts

Removal is different. Volume, access and weight decide the price and none of them show up in a photo. Those get a free onsite estimate, no obligation, with a firm price given in person.

03

Standing work

Running the same route every week or clearing a site after every phase? We set that up as a standing arrangement so you're not requesting a quote every time. Invoiced, W-9 and COI on file.

Asked & answered

Questions

Can you pick material up from a supplier for me?

Yes. Tell us the yard, what's on the order and where it's going. We pick it up and deliver it. If you have not bought it yet, we can still tell you whether the quantity fits in one trip before you order it, which saves a second trip charge.

Will you deliver down a steep or narrow driveway?

That is most of what we do. A pickup and a 14 ft trailer handles grades and turnarounds that a tandem dump truck cannot. If access is genuinely impassable we will tell you before we load, not after we arrive.

Can you take the old one away when you bring the new one?

Yes, and that is usually the cheapest way to do it since it's one trip instead of two. Appliances, water heaters, furniture, mattresses. Tell us up front so we plan the load.

How much gravel or soil can you actually bring?

About a yard and a half of soil, or a yard and a bit of gravel, per trip. Mulch runs four to six yards because it runs out of space before it runs out of weight. If you need more than that in one drop, a tandem dump is the right tool and we will tell you so.

Do you work with contractors on an ongoing basis?

Yes. Standing arrangements, invoicing, W-9 and a certificate of insurance naming your company are all normal. Weight tickets come back with every disposal run for your files.

What can't you take?

Hazardous chemicals, wet paint, asbestos. No full roof tear-offs, and no structural demolition. We will point you to the right outfit at no charge.

Need it moved?

Call with the details and we will tell you straight whether it fits in one trip, two, or whether you need a bigger truck.
